Many people may not count it, but your first Christmas was spent in your mom's tummy. And it was quite a first Christmas.
First, let's reminisce on your first dance—you and little Emery Mae. Of course, she was still in her mom's tummy too, but it was quite a sight. You two were bouncing and shaking, and I think there may have even been a little shimmying happening (mostly from Emery; her mom taught her well).
It was the next day that you experienced your first snow. What was particularly exciting about this first snow is that it was so close to Christmas. Neither your mom or your dad had ever had the white Christmas that you hear about in all the classic Christmas songs and movies. So as they excitedly watched the snow fall, you shivered a little as the winter cold was really starting to settle in.
Just a few days later and Christmas was here!! And the snow was still around! A little icy and a lot muddier, but still white enough to count. That day, you, your dad, your mom, and Wolf and Caesar enjoyed just hanging out, eating turkey, and opening gifts. It was such a great and relaxing first Christmas as a family!
And let's not leave out what happened just a week later...the New Year! The year of your birth! The year your mom and dad would finally get to see your little face and dress you in all the cute plaid shirts they couldn't resist buying. They were so excited, and as that new year progressed, their excitement only grew.
